How to Play
Two players move pieces diagonally on the dark squares of an 8x8 board. Regular pieces can only move forward (one diagonal square at a time). Capture opponent pieces by jumping over them diagonally — captures are mandatory when available. Multiple jumps in a single turn are allowed and required if possible. When a piece reaches the opponent's back row, it becomes a King and can move both forward and backward. Win by capturing all of your opponent's pieces or blocking them from moving.
About Checkers
Checkers (also known as Draughts) is one of the oldest board games in the world, with origins dating back thousands of years. Its combination of simple rules and tactical depth makes it endlessly replayable. PlayMore.gg offers real-time online Checkers with forced capture rules, automatic king promotion, and multi-jump detection. Play with 5 or 10 minute time controls, track your ELO rating, and compete on the leaderboard.
Scoring
Checkers on PlayMore.gg uses an ELO rating system starting at 1200. Win games to increase your rating — beating stronger players earns more points. The rating system uses a K-factor of 32 for calibration (first 30 games) and 16 for established players. Track your win/loss record and rating history on your profile.
